FOI: I nearly choked on my marriage vows
TECH-LEADING Camden Council has a whole online mine of consultations for you to take part in. One of them lasted for a whole year, a survey on the performance of its wedding ceremony services, although only attracted a grand total of only six responses. It’s a “very small number”, the council concedes, as it conducted more than 1,200 ceremonies at the Town Hall over that time.
After asking, through FOI for the feedback it did get, understandably redacted, we learned one couple had a miserable day, and another didn’t like the vows he was asked to say out loud, see above. The other four were happy. Consultation closed. Another one crossed off at the We Are Camden consultation hub.
