And now the ice bucket challenge reaches Camden’s councillors
IN answer to the last post – where you can now see two top-ranked Islington councillors splashed with ice water – Tulip Siddiq has sidestepped the Ice Bucket Challenge, the craze aimed at raising awareness – and donations – for motor neurone disease.
I hate wasting water but I love giving charity so I will definitely be donating generously. Thanks for nominating me!! @Uma_Kumaran

But, as night follows day, it had to reach Camden’s circle of Labour councillors at some point and. Regent’s Park councillor Nash Ali has become the first to brave the bucket. He then nominated his pal Bob Latham and cabinet member for customers, Abdul Hai.
Just to re-assure all my fellow water lovers, this ice bucket challenge was done with rain water collected from Bank Holiday Monday and it was for a good charitable cause!!
