IT sounds like we won’t be returning to the Somers Town Sports Centre for the election counts in May. Whispers have it that the current preferred venue is the recently refurbished Haverstock School in Chalk Farm school. Planning ahead, I’m also told the BBC have already bagged a place to film the Hampstead and Kilburn count, eager to capture the moment Glenda Jackson either clings onto her seat or signs off her long parliamentary career.
