ARE we all enjoying the Olympic torch relay? A public service warning to all people who read newspapers or watch television news: It hits Tottenham High Road on July 25. Watch out for candidates for Private Eye‘s Pseud’s Corner section signing in at this stage to cover proceedings. They will no doubt be in full aching, a-hole pomp.
“Less than a year ago, these concrete streets were lit by the bright orange burst of an inferno as shops and homes were ravaged by riot. Today there is just one flame….” And so on.
