Blur on Primrose Hill

April 5, 2012

HERE’S a really lovely film from Oliver Cross, Jeff Nottingham and James Veitch which follows on from the Ham & High‘s story a few weeks back about Blur fans re-painting the For Tomorrow inscription on Primrose Hill. It reminds us of what were the best bits of Britpop Camden. Personally, I reckon the inscription, sadly not immune to rain, is a nicer addition to the hill than the idea of putting a giant Christ The Reedemer statue on the summit circulated earlier this year. Best bit about the film uploaded to YouTube are the punters who walk past, the woman who indirectly knows Graham Coxon and the astounded Doctor Who character who cries: ‘EXXXCELLENT. Gooood. I will inform everybody who I stop to talk to.’ Welcome to Primrose Hill.
