WE might not have prayers at our council meetings but Camden hasn’t been left off the group email from Eric Pickles, who is ‘confident you will make good use of your new powers’. Here’s his letter to leaders everywhere explaining the importance of rhythm at Town Hall sessions:

Careful. A future administration could just as easily introduce ‘Winterval’ across the borough with these exciting new powers.
Still, good to see the Pickles tackling the major issues in the run up to another spate of huge CLG budget cuts rather than launching some more chaff for the Daily Mail to focus our attention on…
